Your customer scans it and the request lands in your queue with the machine already identified. Your tech scans it and gets the unit's history, manuals, and parts on the spot. Your office takes it from request to invoice to paid, in one record.

The data plate that never grease-fades
The kitchen manager scans the sticker on the dead unit, taps Request Service, and the request lands in your queue with the machine already identified. No phone tag, no "the cooler on the left." Phone calls still work; the office logs them into the same flow.
On arrival, the tech scans the same sticker and sees the whole machine: model, serial, warranties, manuals, parts, and every visit your company has logged. The hours lost calling the office for manuals and part numbers stop here.
Your name and number stay on the unit for the life of the machine. Two years from now, when it breaks again, the building engineer's easiest path is the sticker with your brand on it, not a search box.

You'll land on the public page for a demo ice machine, the same page your customers see on a unit you've tagged. And a damaged sticker never costs you data: the sticker is only a pointer, the record lives in ScanSticker. Print a replacement, link it to the same unit, and the history is all still there.
One take, no jump cuts: a sticker gets scanned, the request hits the queue, dispatch drops it on a tech, and the invoice goes out with a pay button on it.

There is no status dropdown to forget. On My Way, Start, and Finish are things a tech already does, and the board updates itself from those actions.
Assign work, hold a job for parts, cut the purchase order, and release the job back to the board when the part lands.
Optional lines toggle with a live total. Approval creates a tamper-evident acceptance record, and Approve & Pay Deposit funds the job before you order parts.
Clocked technician minutes become labor lines on the invoice in one tap. The hours your techs work stop evaporating between the truck and the bill.

Built on Stripe and QuickBooks Online. Your money moves through your own Stripe account and your books live in your own QuickBooks, infrastructure you already trust, connected in minutes. ScanSticker never holds your funds or your ledger.

Illustrative example of per-line tax treatment on a Virginia repair invoice.
Repair labor, parts, trip charges, and freight are taxed differently by state, and generic automated tax gets repair invoices wrong. ScanSticker computes tax per line, cites the rule it applied, and pushes exact amounts to QuickBooks Online.
Invoices go out with a pay link. Customers pay by card or ACH through Stripe; deposits collect at estimate approval, balances at invoice.
Bill per site or consolidated per account, and give facility managers a magic-link portal that shows status and history — never your rates or internal notes.
Every 90 days, every 500 run-hours — whichever comes first, per unit. The meter is run time, so the fryer working sixteen-hour days gets seen sooner than the one barely used. Findings become quoted estimates the customer approves from a phone.

|---|---|---|
| Does the price change when you hire? | Flat monthly, unlimited users. The price is on this page. | Per-seat pricing is standard; the bill grows with every hire. |
| Can you try it without a sales call? | 7-day self-serve trial. Start tonight, no demo required. | Trials vary; the serious tiers start with a demo and a contract. |
| Is there a per-unit equipment record? | Yes — serial, warranties, components, manuals, and full history on each unit. | History usually attaches to the client or the property, not the machine. |
| Is there a QR intake sticker on the unit? | Yes. Customers scan it to request service; techs scan it for context. | No. |
| Can PM trigger from how hard the machine runs? | Yes — calendar, run-hours, or whichever comes first, per unit. | Calendar recurrence is the ceiling. |
| Who computes sales tax on repair invoices? | A built-in state tax engine, per line, with citations. | The accounting package or manual rates. |

Why flat pricing? Per-seat fees punish hiring, and add-ons punish trust, the two complaints we hear most from contractors leaving their last tool, so we removed both. Tiers scale by equipment under management, never by headcount, and stickers print from the app on standard label stock: no hardware, no per-sticker fee.
Third-party costs stay separate. Customers pay their own Stripe processing, Stripe Tax usage when enabled, and QuickBooks Online subscription. Every plan: 7-day free trial, month to month, cancel anytime, data export included.
